Pastoral Care
HOW DO I RECEIVE PASTORAL CARE AT MILESTONE?
- Many times in life we encounter difficulties that seem overwhelming.
- Many times we face decisions and are unsure how to best proceed.
- Many times we need someone to help guide us in how to move forward according to God's principles.
That's why the church is here.
Milestone small group leaders provide lay Christian counseling for the majority of difficult situations people face. However, some problems may require a meeting with a member of the Milestone Pastoral team.
If you feel that you need to receive pastoral counseling, simply follow the steps below:
- Call the Milestone offices at 817-812-3600 and describe your need for assistance.
- The pastor on staff best qualified to help will be assigned to you.
- The assigned pastor will call you personally to speak with you about your situation and will schedule a time to meet if necessary.
- Together, you and the assigned pastor will prayerfully assess the best steps for you to take.
- If deemed beneficial, you will be referred to a professional Christian counselor for more in-depth and on-going counseling.
Note: Milestone pastors will not meet privately behind closed doors with members of the opposite sex. Milestone Pastors provide biblical pastoral counsel, not professional counseling services. All persons seeking pastoral counsel are required to sign a release form before the first meeting.
